Medicare:
To qualify for Medicare home health care benefits, you must meet the following criteria:

You must be homebound

You must have the need for skilled care

You must have the need for intermittent care as opposed to continuous care

You must be eligible for Medicare service

You must use a Medicare certified Home health care agency
Medicaid:
This is a joint Federal and State medical assistance program for low-income people. Medicaid can cover both skilled and non-skilled services.
Worker's Compensation:
Work related injury resulting in the need for home health services are paid for through worker's compensation.
Auto Insurance:
Auto accident injury requiring home health care services can be paid through auto insurance.
Veterans Administration (VA) Benefits:
Veterans who are at least 50% diasbled due to a service related condition can have their home health services covered if the service is autorised by the doctor.
HMOs:
Third party payor or Insurance companies.
Private Payment:
Home health services that are not covered or that do not meet the requirement for payment by third party payor are paid for by the individual.
